A common issue found on many high performance Italian bikes is the inherent stiff and heavy action of the clutch lever, which can make town commuting in stop and start traffic a pain, both mentally and physically in your forearms. On most Panigale the standard clutch slave size is 26mm. But by installing a larger capacity 30 mm Ø clutch slave cylinder that has been CNC machined from light alloy billet and anodized in different colours will reduce the effort required to pull the clutch lever and give a race style look to the bike.
The reduction in force needed to engage your clutch lever is reduced by around 30% and will make changing gears more slicker and less clunky. On the top of the clutch slave cylinder is the AEM logo embossed into the design. The overall design is simplistic as the aim behind this upgrade was to improve the usability of your Ducati and for the clutch slave cylinder to blend into the overall look of your bike. There are four main colours to choose from but other colours are available upon request.
These clutch slave cylinders are made from single alloy solid blocks in a process where the entire design is machined out. This gives the structure of the upgrade outstanding strength and durability, which is a must for the intended use.
Overall this 30mm clutch slave cylinder is a must for all Ducati Panigale riders, be it a track day pro or the casual weekend rider. It is recommended for this part to be installed by a professional mechanic as bleeding the system will be required.
